Driving Behaviours
Driver behaviours can have a great impact on the fuel efficiency of a vehicle. We are supporting drivers through training and education of efficient driving techniques.

Alternative Fuelled Vehicles
As part of our commitment to incorporating into our fleet at the appropriate time alternative fuel and energy vehicles we currently have six different vehicle types undergoing tests. These include two electric vehicles, two hybrid vehicles and two "teardrop" trailers. We are investigating viable options for alternative fuels for the future of our fleet.

Efficient Vehicles
We have rolled out 1,100 Mercedes Eco-Start vehicles to help reduce vehicle emissions through reducing idling. Our entire fleet of 2000+ vans is regularly renewed to ensure we have the most economical and efficient vehicles on the road.

Drivers also undertake daily vehicle checks and vehicles undergo maintenance inspections regularly to ensure their efficiency and safety.
