On Monday 19th June, Parcelforce Worldwide secured the IFW Freighting Industry Award for Technology.  The other finalists in this category included ANC Express, Pall-Ex and TNT Express Services UK & Ireland.

The annual IFW Freighting Industry Awards are established as the premier international accolade for each sector of the freighting industry including air, express, shipping, rail, logistics and customer services.

The winning submission was based on the development, strengths and successes of the innovative despatching solution Worldwide Despatch ManagerTM on line.   The judges felt “ Parcelforce Worldwide had overcome significant barriers and made important changes to develop an impressive web-based system, Worldwide Distribution ManagerTM   on line, which was both simple and effective”.
