Angling Direct started 30 years ago when our two founding directors bought a small fishing tackle store in Wroxham, Norfolk.

Through a series of small store acquisitions in Norfolk we launched our first ‘superstore’ in Norwich in 2000. And, since then, we’ve grown to 15 stores and have an aim to grow to over 30 stores in the next 5 years.

We were one of the first in our sector to embrace online trading in 1998 and are now the market leader with over 20% of the market. At the heart of Angling Direct is our passion – from the boardroom to the warehouse, everyone counts and is part of a team. We have a passion for fishing and to help and support all of our customers. We are committed to matching our unequalled in-store customer service with the online experience.
