Two Trusted Brands, One Account.
Currently, Royal Mail and Parcelforce Worldwide operate as two distinct networks with their own operational and technology ecosystems. From 11th August 2025 Royal Mail and Parcelforce Worldwide will transition to a combined network.
This will enable our network to handle all parcel sizes, ensuring more efficient collection, processing, and delivery of higher parcel volumes. The Parcelforce brand will remain, but instead of operating with two distinct product sets, Royal Mail and Parcelforce Worldwide will operate using a single set of products and services, to leverage the collective strengths of our combined networks.
Seamless Migration Support—Every Step of the Way
We have a dedicated programme in place to assist our customers in transitioning to the new network, backed by a team of specialists ready to support you throughout the process.

Monday 12 May 2025 - Transformation explained
This week we’ve uploaded a short film explaining the transformation.
Monday 5 May 2025 - Parcelforce app decommissioning
As we transition to a unified Parcelforce and Royal Mail ecosystem, we are introducing several operational changes that will offer you increased flexibility and more options when using our services.
Soon, users of the Parcelforce App will be able to use the Royal Mail App to continue accessing the same features, along with many new ones. This transition means that you will be able to track both Royal Mail and Parcelforce items from a single app.
To facilitate this transition, the Parcelforce App was discontinued on 5 May 2025. In the meantime, you can continue tracking your parcels via the Parcelforce website at parcelforce.com
Monday 21 April 2025 - Technology Trial in Stoke and Lincoln
As part of our ongoing commitment to protect service whilst we prepare for network transformation, we are trialling a new technology with a small number of our drivers at our Stoke and Lincoln depots starting in May. If you are sending parcels to or from these areas, please be aware that you may experience isolated changes. These potential changes include:
- Inflight: you may experience some changes to inflight notifications
- Collection scan: as we trial the new technology you may not receive a collection scan. Normal scans through our network will remain unchanged.
We expect no impact on our ability to deliver our guaranteed services as you would normally expect.
